I had the pleasure of working with Jason Flemyng in the summer of 2011. Originally intended to be a studio shoot, Jason was generous enough to invite me to his North London home, bombarded with tea, biscuits and homemade cakes upon my arrival, it was safe to say the shoot got of to a perfect start.
Jason is a true professional, he’s disarmingly charming with a warm and genuine demeanor, he instantly puts you at ease and its easy to quickly forget that you’re stood opposite an incredibly accomplished actor with over 80 film and stage credits to his name.
Working with Jason, I was keen to explore the idea of varying perceptions, the idea of repeated imagery working together to create a single identity, an identity visually rounded and fleshed out in character and nuance.
I wanted to explore this notion of repetitive encounters, each different but the same, in Jason I couldn’t have picked a better or more willing participant, each shot different, but reminiscent of the last. A singular idea binding the images, but a unique persona in each.

Eran Creevy, a talented Director & Writer. I wanted to photograph Eran in his natural habitat, Soho. He was spending a greta deal of time there, putting the finishing touches to his third feature film "Collide." Eran is a force of nature, a highly creative and talented filmmaker with an infectious energy. Like many before him, he was weary of having his portrait shot, I hoped the distraction of lunch would aid the process.
