IGNORANCE

Kristof Dhont from Ghent University, Belgium, and Gordon Hodson of Brock University, Canada, eminent figures in the field, assert a definitive, causal connection between low intelligence and prejudice, including racism.

Their research underscores the correlation between cognitive abilities and biased attitudes.

"Ignorance" C-Type Print, endeavours to explore these conclusions using vivid text, colour, and syntax. Childlike hues juxtapose violent language, evoking a disconcerting yet darkly humorous tone.

Buki Koshoni, the artist, aims to provoke both pleasure and discomfort in viewers. The artwork challenges the urge to laugh against the stark reality of abhorrent language, sober introspection amidst childlike aesthetics.

There is nothing more frightening than a bustling ignorance.

-Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
